The multi-functional activity centre, also known as Quota Memorial Park, caters for all ages – that’s what you’ll find in Nambour at the corner of Matthew and Ann Streets, in close proximity to the heart of Nambour.

The precinct includes a memorial space for veterans with the Heroes walk is quite impressive and an appropriate location for paying your respects and remembering our fallen and serving soldiers.

The park also contains an enormous 35-tonne sculpture of a set of cogs and gears from the old Moreton Sugar Mill in Nambour. This is a proud piece of Nambour’s history that adds a very special element to the place and I’d like to thank Bundaberg Sugar for providing it.

It is recommended to take a friend when visiting this park.

Skate park

The Skate Park and Youth Activity Precinct houses one of the most exciting skate parks on the Coast. The award winning skate park caters for all ages with the Youth Precinct also including a basketball half-court, shade, terrace seating, climbing structures, a playground, public amenities and event spaces.

For a list of other skate facilities in the region, visit the Skate and BMX parks on the coast page.

Dog off leash park

This extension of Quota park includes a dog off-leash area, open grassy areas, pedestrian connection pathways and a recreational hub for Nambour. Although there is no fence, your dog is permitted off leash in the area where the dog agility equipment is located.

Please me mindful of keeping your dog under control when other dogs and people are using the same area. (There is no plan to install fencing in this park, due to the park being located in a flood zone. Unfortunately a fence would impact the flow of water in a storm event).

This park includes a wide pedestrian pathway linking around the entire park, rolling mounds, open grassed areas to kick a ball and plenty of trees that will grow to provide great shaded areas. The off leash area also provides a variety of dog agility equipment for you and your puppy to enjoy.

Please ensure your dog remains 5 metres away from any barbecue and or playground facility for health and safety reasons at all times. Follow the onsite signage for further guidance of where you can take your dog.
