Ayliffe Park
Ayliffe Park is the largest foreshore park at Golden Beach, providing plenty of facilities. It lies between Oxley and McLean Streets, opposite the northern tip of Bribie Island. The playground is sheltered by shade sails and offers plenty of interest, as well as a fenced Liberty Swing (wheelchair accessible).
Ayliffe Park provides shelters with picnic tables and beach showers dotted along the foreshore. There is a playground and a Liberty Swing, both are sheltered by shade sails. The park provides direct access to the coastal pathway.
Public amenities are located in the middle of the park, adjacent to Earnshaw Street. Off street car parking is available at various locations along Esplanade Golden Beach.
Care needs to be taken when swimming here as there are tidal currents.
Liberty Swing
This Liberty Swing is a wheelchair accessible swing. The swing is positioned in a fully fenced area and is located adjacent to Earnshaw Street. A MLAK key (Master Locksmith Access Key) is required for the Liberty Swing. To find out how to apply for a MLAK key, visit the Master Locksmith website.
