Council provides a comprehensive waste collection, disposal, recycling and advisory service for residential, commercial and industrial customers.
Storm-impacted waste disposal
For a limited time, residents can drop off storm-impacted waste for free at Council's resource recovery centres.
We will accept:
- storm-impacted general waste until 5pm Sunday 30 November
- storm damaged green waste until 5pm Friday 5 December. Note: Green waste must be 'clean'.
If you are unable to carry or transport your green waste to a resource recovery centre, please get in touch with us. You can:
- phone us on (07) 5475 7272 (24 hours a day 7 days per week)
- email us at customer.service@sunshinecoast.qld.gov.au
- submit an online form.
Please do not put waste from your property on to the footpath or verge.
