Landsborough - Cribb Street streetscape
Council has completed the vibrant streetscape upgrade of Cribb Street, Landsborough.
The local community’s ideas and aspirations for Cribb Street have become a reality with the completion of Stage 2 of Cribb Street upgrade.
The project was part of the multi-stage Landsborough Placemaking Master Plan which was designed with extensive consultation with the community. The master plan was endorsed by Council in January 2020.
Project update
The completed streetscape project provides an improved central gathering space for our community to come together.
The park improvements complement and add to the works already completed as part of the first stage of the streetscape project. Now with even more amenity and functionality, the main street is an even better place for locals to enjoy, commuters to move efficiently through and visitors to discover.
Features of the new space include shelters and seating, a play space, lawn area for community events, more shade trees and creative lighting elements to build on the signature night-time lighting of the township.
