Bridge Creek Bushcare Group have been removing weeds and replacing them with native vegetation on council managed land since 2014.

Bridge Creek Bushcare Group, in partnership with BushCare Sunshine Coast, have been removing weeds and replacing them with native vegetation on council managed land since 2014.

The group have been very active in raising awareness of the value of native vegetation and wildlife corridors with nearby residents. Since the project commenced, local residents have even observed increased bird activity.

The group now work on the drainage reserve with the aim to establish a buffer of riparian vegetation to improve water quality and re-establish linkages.
