The Sunshine Coast First Nations Business Showcase celebrates our region’s vibrant First Nations business sector and creates valuable connections between local businesses, entrepreneurs, industry, government and the broader business community.
Hosted by Sunshine Coast Council during Indigenous Business Month, the annual Showcase provides opportunities to build relationships, explore procurement and collaboration, and supports a thriving and inclusive regional economy.

About the Showcase
Last year's Showcase was officially the largest Indigenous Business Month event in Queensland, with key highlights including:
- over 50 First Nations businesses
- expert panel discussions
- masterclasses
- live business pitches
- industry and government partnerships
- support services.
The 2026 Showcase is delivered in partnership with The Dreaming Collective, a local First Nations-owned consultancy and is proudly supported by the Department of Women, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Partnerships and Multiculturalism, Stockland, CoastalTrax, Beerwah Coast Connect, Investment and Trade Queensland, Arup and Shadforth.

Celebrate Indigenous Business Month
Indigenous Business Month is a month-long celebration and showcase of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander businesses, highlighting their innovation, excellence, economic independence and self-determination.
Held annually between 1-31 October, the platform seeks to inspire the next generation of Indigenous entrepreneurs and build awareness of the role Indigenous business plays in creating jobs, preserving culture and driving economic development.
