Replanting with native plants
Replanting with native plants have many positives for the surrounding environment.
Replanting areas once you have removed invasive plants will help to:
- stop erosion
- stop invasive plants from re-growing due to reduced space, nutrients and sunlight available
- create canopy cover
- attract native wildlife to your garden
- create cooler micro-climates on your property.
See council's Native plants page for more information.
