The Sunshine Coast Biosphere Awards recognise individuals, organisations, businesses, and educational institutions creating positive change and demonstrating excellence in sustainability across our region.
In 2022, the Sunshine Coast was proudly recognised internationally by UNESCO as a Biosphere Reserve, one of only five in Australia and part of a global network (over 780 Biosphere Reserves) working to advance sustainability through innovation, strong communities, a resilient local economy and care for our natural environment.

We are excited to announce the return of the Froggie Award in this year’s Sunshine Coast Biosphere Awards, supported by the Sunshine Coast Environment Council (SCEC). This is judges choice award, no nomination required.
