The Sunshine Coast Stadium Events Precinct is the premier venue for sport, leisure and entertainment on the Sunshine Coast.Our region has plenty of beaches, parklands, venues and facilities that can cater all styles of events ranging from mass participation events to business conferences.
Venues for major events
Kings Beach Amphitheatre
The King Beach Park encompasses the grassed amphitheatre area and stage. There is a fully fenced playground and public amenities located at the rear (ocean side) of the stage building. Dogs are not permitted at anytime
Nambour Showgrounds
Nambour Showgrounds has a range of spaces available to hire on an ad hoc or regular basis.
Sunshine Coast Stadium
The Sunshine Coast Stadium Events Precinct is the premier venue for sport, leisure and entertainment on the Sunshine Coast.
The Events Centre Caloundra
Sunshine Coast's premier performing arts and conference centre. The venue has two theatres and dining spaces for over 1,000 patrons.

Council venues for hire
Council owns a wide range of venues that can be hired for holding events. These venues offer a selection of spaces for hire suitable for community events.
Kawana Sports Precinct
Sunshine Coast Stadium is the central hub of the Kawana Sports Precinct. Sitting on 45 hectares, the sports precinct hosts an array of events including international, national, state and local games and training camps.
Maroochydore Multisport Complex
Maroochydore Multi Sports Complex is a first-class facility home to four ovals and 20 netball courts available for hire. The Maroochydore Multi Sports Complex has hosted several AFL pre-season training camps, soccer and netball events.
Caloundra Indoor Stadium
Caloundra Indoor Stadium is the Sunshine Coast's only four-court multi-purpose air-conditioned stadium.
Mooloolaba, Maroochydore & Alexandra Headland beaches

Event Permits
Temporary event permits are required for holding events in public spaces. For major events, you are encouraged to submit your application at least six months before your proposed event date.
