Rates and valuation search
Council can perform a range of searches including rates and valuation, property ownership and previous rates notices.
Council issues rate notices half yearly in January and July. You can request a selection of rates and valuation information searches, per below.
Rates and valuation certificate
Information included:
- current registered owner
- amount of half yearly rates outstanding or paid
- Department of Natural Resources and Mines, Manufacturing and Regional and Rural Development unimproved valuation.
Note: Please allow 5 business days from receipt of your application and cleared payment. We do not currently offer a fast-track service due to the high volume of searches. If a property is for sale - to ensure that you receive your search results within your desired timeframe, we encourage you to allow at least 3 business days in addition to Council's processing time when negotiating your contract timeframes.
Property enquiry
Information included:
- Owners name/s and address only.

Statement of account
Information included:
- specify dates of rating period/s e.g. January to June 20xx or July to December 20xx (previous 7 years only).

Copy of previous rate notice/s
Email request to Council's customer service.
Copies will only be supplied to owners whose name/s appears on the rates notice.
Specify dates of rating period/s e.g. January to June 20xx or July to December 20xx (previous 7 years only).

- Login to MyCouncil for immediate access to rate notices in your ownership name.
- Please allow 15 business days from receipt of your application. We do not currently offer a fast-track service due to the high volume of searches.
How to request a search
Council offers several ways to retrieve rates and valuation information:
- lodge and pay online through MyCouncil (you will need to register to use this service).
- complete the rates and valuation search form (DOCX, 204.7KB).
- visit one of our offices.
Note: Search applications will not be accepted without payment. To comply with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard, the use of credit cards is only available online through MyCouncil, or in person.
