Former planning schemes
View the former Caloundra City Plan 2004 and Maroochy Plan 2000.
A superseded planning scheme is created every time a new planning scheme, or planning scheme amendment is gazetted. The Sunshine Coast Planning Scheme 2014 replaced the Caloundra City Plan 2004 and Maroochy Plan 2000 planning schemes.
In accordance with Section 29 of the Planning Act 2016, a person may ask council to assess a development proposal under the relevant superseded planning scheme. The request must be made within one (1) year of the date the Sunshine Coast Planning Scheme 2014 or relevant planning scheme amendment took effect. The request must be accompanied by the relevant form and fee.
