Bulcock Beach boardwalk
Regulations for fishing, animal on-leash and prohibited areas and use of facilities surrounding the Bulcock Beach boardwalk.
Bulcock Beach is a natural asset and contributes to tourism and lifestyle in Caloundra.
Council regulates certain activities on the boardwalk. This ensures the community and visitors can make the most of the:
- boardwalk
- shaded picnic areas
- barbecue facilities.
Fishing
Fishing within the immediate dining area along the boardwalk is not allowed.
The boardwalk does not provide the correct facilities or space for:
- fishing
- rod casting
- bait preparation
- fish handling.
The fishing area is located at the lower deck of the boardwalk, western end of Bulcock esplanade. It is adjacent to the two disabled parking bays. This area is wider and better for fishing activities, fish handling and cleaning. There are many other suitable locations for fishing along Bulcock Beach.
