The Local Government Act 2009 (the Act), requires that councillors must manage their personal interests at meetings.

Council is not required to publish records about how councillors’ conflicts of interests are dealt with at meetings - this information is published in the minutes of council meetings.

In the interests of transparency and for ease of reference, details of personal interests declared by Councillors at statutory meetings may be accessed via the Councillor Personal Interests at Meetings Register.
