Functional Circuit Training

We are excited to announce a new class in Buderim which is suitable for everyone – Functional Circuit Training on Wednesdays at 11am to 12pm in the CWA Room at the Buderim War Memorial Hall.

Starting on Wednesday 13 October, Gaye Becker is offering a class on functional training, which is a term used to describe exercises that help you perform activities in everyday life more easily. These exercises use the whole body, definitely multiple muscles, and emphasis core strength and stability.

 Giggles and Gains – Parent and Bub Fitness

Healthy Sunshine Coast introduces Giggles and Gains – Parent and Bub Fitness, a class for new or parents-to-be, Wednesdays from 9.45am to 10.45am at the Coolum Bridge Club.

Ethan and Jenna from Adventure Functional Training lead a fun and inclusive program that helps parents connect while getting fit. The class focusses on functional movements that support everyday parenting activities – like lifting, holding and playing with your little one – all in a supportive, safe and non-judgemental environment.

Chair Yoga for All Abilities

A new Chair Yoga for All Abilities class is being added to the Healthy Sunshine Coast program.

Sarah White is offering a new class Thursdays 2pm to 3pm at the Coolum Civic Centre, in addition to her Maroochydore class.

Chair Yoga is a class for anyone recovering from injury, new to yoga, or who may find balance and stability challenging without support.

In this gentle class, various seated and standing postures are incorporated using a chair for support, to build strength and stability, whilst increasing range of movement in the body
