Join our biosphere community
It’s a commitment and our responsibility to a sustainable, vibrant future. It is important that Sunshine Coast organisations, businesses and the community can engage with the brand. An application is required to access different levels of brand use: Partners, Collaborator, Supporter.
The Sunshine Coast Biosphere brand represents our community’s shared values, working together to live, work, learn and play sustainably towards a future we are proud of. We look to have a consistent approach in using the brand – something that unites in creating a sense of belonging and pride.
Brand access is based on eligibility to meet specific criteria and agreement to the Sunshine Coast Biosphere – Intellectual Property Terms of Use (PDF, 223.3KB). Word format available on request, please email biosphere@sunshinecoast.qld.gov.au.
Read the following criteria for the different levels of access and determine your eligibility.
Partner
- Large regional organisation or representing an industry body.
- Leading the way in adopting sustainable practices and supporting the Sunshine Coast Biosphere.
- Championing one or more of the Sunshine Coast Biosphere values (celebration, participation, innovation, belonging).
- Commitment aligned to one or more of the Sunshine Coast Biosphere objectives (people, conservation, development, research/learning).
- Showing explicit alignment with one or more of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
- Identified key sustainability projects / initiatives addressing the biosphere values/ objectives/ SDGs.
- Agree to use the Sunshine Coast Biosphere brand within the conditions of the Sunshine Coast Biosphere – Intellectual Property Terms of Use (PDF, 223.3KB).
Collaborator
- Specific initiatives (events) that align with one or more of the Sunshine Coast Biosphere values (celebration, participation, innovation, belonging).
- Demonstrate an alignment with one or more of the Sunshine Coast Biosphere objectives (people, conservation, development, research/ learning).
- Explain initiatives to deliver a sustainable event.
- Agree to use the Sunshine Coast Biosphere brand within the conditions of the Sunshine Coast Biosphere – Intellectual Property Terms of Use (PDF, 223.3KB).
Supporter
- Demonstrate commitment to sustainable practices.
- Commitment to Sustainable Development Goal #17 Partnerships.
- Agree to use the Sunshine Coast Biosphere brand within the conditions of the Sunshine Coast Biosphere – Intellectual Property Terms of Use (PDF, 223.3KB).
